Maine's two senators have voted opposite of one another on more than a half-dozen of President Trump's Cabinet picks. The latest, vaccine-skeptic Robert F. Kennedy Jr., will now lead the Department of Health and Human Services.

Kennedy Jr. cleared a procedural vote in the Senate Wednesday that fell along party lines, teeing up the confirmation. Maine Republican Senator Susan Collins announced earlier this week she would vote to confirm RFK Jr.

While Maine's independent senator joined Democrats in opposing Russell Vought's nomination, Sen. Susan Collins voted with her fellow Republicans to confirm him.
