The crash that could force Martin out of remainder of pre-season testing is still being debated by Aprilia and Michelin

Aprilia sporting director says reigning MotoGP world champion Jorge Martin “is fine” and will have surgery in Spain on Friday following his heavy Sepang test crash. Martin crashed twice early on the opening day of testing in Malaysia on Wednesday, with the second one a violent highside at Turn 2.

The reigning MotoGP champion lost control of his bike on turn two where a highside launched the 27-year-old into the air before he landed hard on the tarmac.
