The proposed ballot measure on medical marijuana, which is also known as Issue 3, has been in limbo since Sept. 30 when Secretary of State John Thurston deemed the petitions for the measure "insufficient," which prompted a legal challenge from Arkansans for Patient Access, the sponsor of the amendment.

With early voting set to begin next week, many eyes are on Issue 3. Here's what it could mean for the expansion of medical marijuana access in Arkansas.
