Charles “Peanut” Tillman crossed through the line of Chicago Bears fans that snaked down the block in London’s Victoria neighborhood Friday night and cut behind the Bears drumline that had been pounding out thunderous beats on the street.

The Chicago Bears game against the Jaguars is not being shown on Fox 39 or by any Rockford TV station Sunday morning from London. It’s only on the NFL Network. I know some of you are confused by the fact the Fox 32 in Chicago is showing the game.

The big picture: Each year, the NFL shuttles a few games to London as part of a marketing campaign to attract more European fans to the sport. The Bears last played in London in 2019. State of play: This game amounts to a nationally televised game for the Bears.
