A relaxing Christmas Eve with family took a bad turn on Tuesday evening as fire spread quickly through a Hiram Avenue home.

The Winchendon Fire Department said they saw heavy flames coming from the home when they arrived at the scene.

A Hazard family has been displaced after their home caught fire on Christmas Eve. According to the Hazard Fire Department, fire crews were dispatched around 1:04 p.m. to Jasmine Court. There they found a single-wide trailer fully engulfed in flames.
