A junior at Cedarville University who had reportedly just returned to Kansas for her grandfather's funeral is among the 67 feared dead in a plane crash.

According to the school, Grace Maxwell was a mechanical engineering major and was gearing up to graduate in 2026.

Cedarville University honors Grace Maxwell, a Wichita native and student, who was among the victims of the deadly plane and helicopter crash in D.C.

A 20-year-old Wichita woman was on American Airlines Flight 5342 when it went down in the Potomac River Wednesday night. All 67 people involved in the crash are feared dead. Grace Maxwell was returning to school after visiting her home in Wichita.
