World MotoGP champion Jorge Martín has fractured his right hand and bones in his left foot in a crash in preseason testing with his new team Aprilia.

Aprilia sporting director says reigning MotoGP world champion Jorge Martin “is fine” and will have surgery in Spain on Friday following his heavy Sepang test crash. Martin crashed twice early on the opening day of testing in Malaysia on Wednesday, with the second one a violent highside at Turn 2.
