The Bay State will spend upwards of $8 billion over the next ten years improving its roads, bridges and regional transportation services if a proposal announced by the governor Tuesday is passed by the legislature.

Broker fees may be a thing of the past for Massachusetts renters if a plan from Gov. Maura Healey is successful.

Getting rid of the fees, usually one month's rent will make it "possible for more young people, seniors and families to stay in Massachusetts," Healey said Monday.
