The commuter flight that crashed on Alaska sea ice last week was part of the workhorse network of short-hop flights that people in the vast state rely on for routine.

Authorities say the remains of all 10 people killed when their small plane crashed into ice on the Bering Sea have been recovered. The Nome Volunteer Fire Department made the announcement on its Facebook page Saturday afternoon.
