Following his title victory, Tony D'Angelo looked back on his match against Oba Femi and teased a development that will take place on tonight's "WWE NXT."

WWE rising star and current NXT North American Champion Oba Femi has reached a significant career milestone. Femi’s rapid rise from a newcomer to a fan favorite has captivated the fans, who are drawn to his intimidating presence and dominant performances in the ring.

In September, at WWE NXT No Mercy, Femi defended the NXT North American Championship against D’Angelo, the former Heritage Cup Champion. Femi pounced quickly in the match when he crushed D’Angelo in the corner with a back elbow. He then followed with a powerbomb. Instead of the pin, Femi connected on a sit-out powerbomb for the win.

Tony D’Angelo snapped Oba Femi’s winning streak to become the new North American Champion on Tuesday’s WWE NXT. D’Angelo pinned Femi on Tuesday’s episode with a sunset flip out of a Femi powerbomb attempt to win the title for the first time.

Tony D'Angelo regained his confidence to dethrone Oba Femi for the NXT North American Championship, after Femi held the title for a historic 274 days.

WWE NXT heads to Missouri tonight for its second episode on The CW Network. After winning the title on last week’s CW premiere, new NXT Champion Trick Williams will appear tonight.
