Forwards Dani Olmo and Pau Victor will be allowed to play for Barcelona after the club was granted provisional permission to register the pair by the Spanish national sports council (CSD).

Barcelona's player registration saga has taken another twist, with Dani Olmo and Pau Victor cleared to represent the club while their case is under appeal.

Dani Olmo's future at Barcelona remains in the balance as the Catalan club pursue their legal battle to get the midfielder registered to play once more.There is precedent -- in 2015 Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal joined Barcelona but were frozen out for six months because the Catalan club was serving a ban which prevented them from registering players.
