Chicago Blackhawks left wing Pat Maroon for elbowing Dallas Stars center Mavrik Bourque, the NHL Department of Player Safety announced on Monday. Maroon was fined $3,385.42, the maximum amount allowed under the league’s collective bargaining agreement. The money will go to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
