Grubauer was the first goalie off the ice during morning skate, Mike Benton of the Kraken Audio Network reports, and is expected to get the home start versus the Flyers on Thursday.

Grubauer made 22 saves in a 3-2 loss to St. Louis on Tuesday.

Grubauer stopped 21 of 25 shots in Thursday's 6-4 win over the Flyers.

The good news is that the Kraken's defensive system is working fairly well early in the year, but that hasn't always led to success for the team's goalies.

Grubauer will draw his second start of the season with the Kraken on the second half of a back-to-back. The 32-year-old made 22 saves on 25 shots in Tuesday's season-opening loss against the Blues.
