Samsung has announced the Galaxy Book 5 Pro and 5 360 featuring Intel Arrow Lake Core Ultra processors. The laptops are equipped with Galaxy AI capabilities like AI Select and Photo Remaster and have expanded integration with the Microsoft Phone Link app for seamless connectivity within the Galaxy ecosystem.

The Galaxy Book 5 Pro comes in 14- and 16-inch variants, each with 2880 x 1800 resolution AMOLED screens and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Pros also have “Vision Booster” tech that “uses tone mapping to adjust the contrast and colors” to make things easier to see while working outside.

Samsung is rolling out an updated line of Galaxy Books at CES 2025. The new Galaxy Book5 Pro (available in 16-inch and 14-inch screens) and Book5 360 (15-inch display) are equipped with Intel’s newest Arrow Lake Core Ultra processors.

Samsung Galaxy phones will finally support Qi2 in 2025, according to the stewards of the standard, the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC). Qi2 wireless charging was supposed to bring the convenience of the iPhone's MagSafe to any phone that supports it,

Samsung confirms the first Galaxy phones with Qi2 support will launch in 2025. Google is working with the Wireless Power Consortium to develop Qi v.2.2 with its own fast-charging technology. The WPC is also introducing a "Qi2 Ready" branding that enables phones and accessories to deliver the Qi2 experience when paired together.

The Wireless Power Consortium has confirmed that upcoming Samsung Galaxy devices will adopt the faster Qi2 wireless charging standard.
