PORTAGE LAKE -- There was a deadly police standoff in the Aroostook County town of Portage. A man and state police canine were killed and a deputy was injured after a domestic dispute. The Maine Department of Public Safety reports authorities responded to the incident on Ranger Street for a dispute involving 29-year-old Steven Righini.
