The world’s richest person has stoked outrage about the devastating wildfires and efforts to tackle them. On Sunday, he said he would help provide internet access to areas in need in Los Angeles.

Elon Musk announced Sunday that he is sending Tesla Cybertrucks to Los Angeles after fires have torn through the region.

A Los Angeles County community near the Eaton Fire is getting help as wildfires have ravaged through residents' homes throughout the past week. Altadena, a census-designated place just north of Pasadena,

Musk sent eight Cybertrucks with some Red Vines, bottled water, and oranges to local police stations. The Cybertrucks included Starlink internet to provide some service to people in the immediate area. And the billionaire shared a video on X about how he supposedly saved “thousands of lives” from the wildfires. Seriously.
