Fox Corp. Executive Chairman Lachlan Murdoch told Wall Street analysts Tuesday that his company will launch a direct-to-consumer streaming product that will draw on its news and sports assets.

Fox is preparing to launch a new paid subscription streaming service for its sports and news content later this year.

DIRECTV offers Fox News in its DIRECTV Stream service. Right now, new users can save up to $60 on their three months month after a five-day free trial, with subscription costs starting at $86.98 per month. DIRECTV Stream has three different subscription levels, and Fox News is included in every one.
