Bill Anderson country singer, songwriter, and television host also known as “Whisperin’ Bill” released his most successful song ‘Still’ in 1963. In 1961 Anderson was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry.

Starr will make his Opry debut on February 21 at the Grand Ole Opry House as part of the Opry’s ongoing 100th Anniversary celebration. Starr kicked off his sold-out two-night show (Jan. 14-15) at the Ryman Auditorium Tuesday night, to celebrate his new country album, Look Up.

Per Taste of Country, the former Beatles drummer, who recently released his country album “Look Up” — will headline a show at the Ryman. He was surprised on stage with the invite by Grand Ole Opry member Emmylou Harris. “When is that, July?” Starr said. “I’d love to. It’s an honor and a pleasure. Thank you.”

Shaboozey‘s much-anticipated debut on the Grand Ole Opry has been postponed due to the wildfires that are currently raging out of control in California. “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” gave Shaboozey one of the biggest singles in country music history in 2024,
