Inter Miami will play in the tournament opener, scheduled for June 15, 2025 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.

Inter Miami CF is set to participate in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup as confirmed by FIFA President Gianni Infantino.

FIFA announced today that Inter Miami CF has become the penultimate team to seal a spot at the new FIFA Club World Cup™ after winning the 2024 MLS Supporters’ Shield, confirming the Club as the best team throughout the 2024 Major League Soccer (MLS) regular season.

FIFA had not previously announced how the final North and Central American spot in the 2025 Club World Cup would be awarded.

Inter Miami's place in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup was confirmed following its 6–2 win over New England Revolution. There were rumors leading up to the match that Miami would compete alongside the likes of Manchester City and Real Madrid in the United States next summer.
