The West Coast swing for the PGA Tour is in, well, full swing. Some of the world’s best golfers descended upon Torrey Pines in La Jolla, CA, for the Farmers Insurance Open. Through 36 holes, the Swedish phenom Ludvig Aberg sat tied atop the leaderboard at 6-under par.

Ludvig Aberg shot a 9-under 63 for a two-shot lead over Danny Walker and Hayden Springer in the opening round of the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines.

Ahead of this week’s Farmers Insurance Open, Ludvig Åberg sat down in the media center for his pre-tournament press conference and raved about San Diego being his favorite place in the world. He talked about how Torrey Pines brings him peace, too, and how it’s a golf course that suits his eye.
