A West Tennessee man is charged with aggravated child abuse or neglect after the death of a three-year-old in Jackson.

The Jackson Police Department is currently investigating the death of a 3-year-old child after responding to a call.

The driver, a 41-year-old man, was arrested for suspected drunken driving and was taken to the Jackson County Jail to await arraignment on charges, Jackson County Sheriff Gary Schuette said.
