Jacksonville's Arik Armstead plans to move back to being an interior rusher next season, something he believes will help him excel again and wanted to do in the first place with the Jaguars.

Arik Armstead’s first NFL season with the Jacksonville Jaguars did not go as planned. After spending nine seasons with the San Francisco 49ers, the 31-year-old defensive lineman faced a transition that brought a new role and challenges.

After moving outside in his first season with the Jaguars, Arik Armstead is planning on moving back to the interior for 2025.

Defensively, the Jaguars will have several key pieces back next season. Hines-Allen and Walker still are seen as a top pass rushing duo. Hines-Allen will set his sights on the franchise record for sacks next year and Walker entered the top 10 in sacks for the club this season.
