Now, with the new Model Y in China, Tesla has launched a new color called “Glacier Blue”: It is a much lighter blue than Tesla’s ‘deep blue metallic’ currently offered on vehicles outside of China. But it has now been spotted coming out of Tesla’s factory in Shanghai, and it looks even lighter than on the configurator renders (via xiaoteshushu ):

There appears no sign of a retirement plan for the Model S, but with the 12-year-old EV's 2021 facelift starting to look a little long in the tooth, we could see another update in the near future. As its best-selling model, Tesla has given the Model Y a more comprehensive makeover to set it apart from its twin, the Model 3.
