AEW Rampage is coming to an end, at least for now. At the AEW Dynamite tapings on December 22, Tony Khan said that they were taping the last episode of AEW Rampage “for the foreseeable future”, according to fans in attendance.

AEW President Tony Khan has revealed a major update ahead of the final pay-per-view of 2024, Worlds End. The show will take place on December 28, 2024, at the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida.

AEW received a big-money contract from WBD in 2024, but multiple stars are now trying to fight their way out of their talent contracts.

However, with the launch of Collision in June 2023, which became AEW's secondary flagship program, and the cancellation of the company's YouTube shows (Dark and Elevation), Rampage had gradually shifted focus to featuring younger and mid-to-lower card talent, essentially taking on the role once held by the YouTube programs.
