The memorial held for Irving (John Turturro) in Severance Season 2, episode 5, was memorable for a couple of reasons: 1) the deeply disturbing fruit head, and 2) the discovery made by Dylan (Zach Cherry) behind that poster. But what exactly did the note he found say, and what does it mean?

Helly R.'s outie is, in fact, Helena, heir to the Egan fortune and one of the architects of the severance program; and Mark's wife, Gemma, is alive and living as Ms. Casey on the severed floor. Those are the sorts of major plot twists that can trip up even the smartest of puzzle box shows.

If you thought goats were weird, though, a certain set of animatronic Innies would like to have a quick word. Episode four, the riveting “Woe’s Hollow,” adds a whole new question to the arena, or at the very least, heightens an old one: Are the Egans hoping to achieve immortality via robotics?
