Fresno State lost 28-20 to Northern Illinois in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl on Monday. The Bulldogs, who were short-handed due to a number of players entering the transfer portal, took Northern Illinois to overtime.

Somebody running the graphics for ESPN’s coverage of the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl was having a rough day. The bowl game featured the Northern Illinois Huskies and the Fresno State Bulldogs, but on several occasions during the game, it seems Fresno State was given an unfortunate new nickname.

The Fresno State Bulldogs suffered a tough loss in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. But it's the little mistake by the ESPN production crew that will make this game memorable.
