Jay Leno Drives Into ABC's ‘Shifting Gears'
Jay Leno will find himself in someone else's garage in an upcoming episode of ABC's Shifting Gears. The former Tonight Show host will make a cameo appearance (as himself) in an episode of the Tim Allen-led comedy scheduled for March 12.

Natural, because Shifting Gears is the story of Allen’s character Matt, the stubborn, widowed owner of a classic car restoration shop. So, on the ninth episode of the comedy, airing March 12, Leno plays himself, and he brings his car into Parker Customs for repair.
‘Shifting Gears’ Lures Jay Leno For Cameo Role
Jay Leno will make a cameo as himself in episode 109 of Shifting Gears, Allen’s new comedy in which he plays a stubborn, widowed owner of a classic car restoration shop. Leno brings his car into Allen’s shop, Parker Customs, for repair. No word on whether car came from Leno’s actual fleet. The episode will air March 12.
