Michael Pina of The Ringer came out firing with a piece as to why the Suns should actually move superstar F Kevin Durant instead of continuing to go "all-in" on the title pursuit in the midst of a potentially second disappointing season in a row.

The Phoenix Suns narrowly escaped with a 120-113 home victory over the Charlotte Hornets, but it would be asinine to suggest the franchise is moving in the right direction. In a future-driven move, the Suns could part ways with a slender assassin and begin their rebuild.

One sports writer from The Ringer suggested the Phoenix Suns should depart from their current “Big 3” makeup and move toward a rebuild, imploring that majority owner Mat Ishbia and staff trade Kevin Durant.
