Jaylen Wells isn’t a player who throws many alley-oop lobs for the Memphis Grizzlies. On Friday, his goal is to connect on one with teammate Zach Edey in the Rising Stars tournament.

The NBA’s 82-game regular season is well past the halfway mark but the Memphis Grizzlies are still figuring out the priorities. Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr., and Desmond Bane are seemingly primed for another Western Conference Finals run.

The Grizzlies' starting center had just four points and five rebounds in Memphis' 128-114 loss to the Clippers on Wednesday night in Los Angeles. It was the third straight game where Edey scored in single digits after he had put together three double-doubles in a row.

Purdue (19-5) is No. 7 in the AP poll and first in the Big Ten Conference with an 11-2 league record. The Boilermakers have won 11 of their past 12 games.
