Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has cleared the concussion protocol and will start against the Green Bay Packers on Wild Card Sunday
Tanner McKee, the Eagles’ third-string quarterback, could make his first NFL start in the regular-season finale against the New York Giants on Sunday. The Eagles ruled out Jalen Hurts (concussion) and listed Kenny Pickett (ribs) as questionable on the final injury report Friday.
McKee, in his second year out of Stanford, threw two more touchdown passes after replacing Pickett and then made his first NFL start Sunday and defeated the Giants, 20-13. He completed 27 of 41 throws for 269 yards and two touchdowns while playing almost exclusively with fellow backups.

Nick Sirianni is growing a little tired of answering questions about the status of Jalen Hurts. But after the Eagles finished off their meaningless 20-13 victory over the New York Giants Sunday afternoon, it’s where all eyes turned. Naturally.
McKee made an instant impact for Philadelphia against the Dallas Cowboys in week 17 after replacing the injured Pickett in the third quarter.
