At CES 2025, Samsung showed off two potential designs for a tri-fold Galaxy phone. At a show that otherwise felt pretty cautious and predictable, this was one of the more notable pieces of news – even though it wasn’t even an actual product announcement.

The availability of Samsung's first tri-fold handset will be quite limited, it seems. The phone will also get a very high price tag.

Samsung has demonstrated its triple-fold smartphone prototype, which may see the light of day by 2025. However, due to high costs and poor production, the Samsung tri-fold may not be as successful as it appears.
