This, according to Bugatti boss Mate Rimac, is what the V16-engined Tourbillon will sound like. It is but a short clip of a Tourbillon prototype wearing funky camouflage having some fun at a circuit, and it sounds nothing short of... lightly soul-affirming.
The Bugatti Tourbillon’s Giant V16 Sounds Absolutely Bonkers
The promised specs of the Tourbillon simply boggle the mind. For starters, the V16 revs all the way to 9,000 rpm, which is virtually unheard of for a road-legal engine this big. All up, the engine delivers 986 hp, just a single horsepower less than the Veyron’s original W16, all without the help of four turbochargers.

Not even the company CEO could believe how nice the Tourbillon sounds at full chat. "I don't think we understand yet what we have built," read an on-screen caption for Rimac's Instagram reel. "This will be one for the history books.
Here’s What the Bugatti Tourbillon’s V-16 Sounds Like
While the Chiron was powered by a 8.0-liter W-16 engine, the Tourbillon’s is an 8.3-liter V-16. That engine makes the bulk of the Tourbillon’s power, with an additional 800 horsepower provided by three electric motors, two in the front and one in the rear.
