BP plc BP, the UK-based energy major, has reached a milestone in its ambitious Greater Tortue Ahmeyim (“GTA”) liquefied natural gas (LNG) project, located off the coasts of Mauritania and Senegal.

Golar LNG’s Gimi FLNG vessel will support BP, which began flowing gas from wells at the Greater Tortue Ahmeyim Phase 1 LNG project in early January.
