Both crossovers will end production at the end of 2025, but there’ll be enough inventory for dealers until new product arrives next year

Infiniti is killing off its two compact SUVs after the 2025 model year and announcing the impending arrival of a refreshed QX60 and a new QX65 SUV.

This will surprise no one: 2025 will be the last year for Infiniti's QX50 and QX55 SUVs. Sales of both models have been on a steady slide downwards, so a decision had to be made – and this was the logical one.

Production of the QX50 and QX55 will end in December, Infiniti told retailers at its Jan. 24 make meeting. The Japanese premium brand said it would build enough of the compact crossovers to supply dealers into summer 2026.

Infiniti already has a small lineup, and losing the QX50 and QX55 means an even more limited product range. The QX50 had Infiniti’s second-highest number of deliveries last year
