Gov. Greg Abbott laid out seven emergency items – bills he wants to see passed as soon as possible – for Texas lawmakers to consider.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has named a project dealing with cyber security an emergency item for state lawmakers. Abbott made the announcement during his “State of the State” address Sunday.

Of the seven priority items for state lawmakers to consider this session, one was a Texas Cyber Command headquartered in San Antonio.
