QB Jackson Arnold and WR Eric Singleton are just a few of the hot names Auburn has added to its 2025 roster through the transfer portal.

Keionte Scott, who appeared in 27 games for Auburn from 2022-24, shared this week that he has entered the transfer portal. Scott’s decision came after an NCAA ruling that gave former JUCO players an extra season of eligibility was implemented. Scott joined Auburn’s roster in 2022 after playing one season at Snow College in Utah.

Auburn football lost another play to the transfer portal on Tuesday, albeit a player it already expected to lose. Keionte Scott entered the transfer portal, taking advantage of the blanket waiver granting an additional year of eligibility for current NCAA Division I senior athletes who previously spent one season in junior college or at an NAIA school.

As the Auburn Tigers are adding players via recruiting and the transfer portal some attrition is inevitable including the latest defensive back.

This season was another disappointing one for Hugh Freeze and the Auburn football team. The Tigers finished this season with a 5-7 record, and that was not good enough for a bowl game as six wins is needed.

Auburn redshirt freshman safety C.J. Johnson has become the latest Tiger to enter the transfer portal, according to multiple reports. Christian Clemente of 247Sports was first to report the news. In his two years with the Tigers, Johnson saw no in game action.
