One motorist died and four others were injured Sunday morning in a major crash involving a car and 13 motorcycles on Highway 50 in East Sacramento, the California Highway Patrol said.

A man has died Saturday night after crashing into the Sutter Slough Bridge in Sacramento County, the California Highway Patrol said. CHP said the man was riding his motorcycle around 5:40 p.m. near the bridge and River Road when he crashed into the side of the bridge.
