One motorist died and four others were injured Sunday morning in a major crash involving a car and 13 motorcycles on Highway 50 in East Sacramento, the California Highway Patrol said.

Sacramento Metro Fire responded to a vehicle crash on Stockton Boulevard and Walter Avenue on Saturday evening, with two vehicles involved and one patient transported to a local hospital with moderate to major injuries.
