Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan left a hospital in India’s financial capital Mumbai on Tuesday, less than a week after he suffered knife injuries in a scuffle with an intruder at his house, local media reported.

MUMBAI, India (AP) — Indian Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan was stabbed in a scuffle with an intruder at his home early Thursday and underwent surgery at a hospital, media reports said.

Mumbai: The Bangladeshi national arrested for assaulting Saif Ali Khan managed to enter the actor's residence in Bandra, Mumbai, by climbing over the compound wall. According to the police, he found the security guards asleep at the time of the attack.

Saif appeared in good health, waved at the media, and was accompanied by Kareena and Karisma Kapoor. Security at his residence has been tightened. Kareena shared an Instagram post requesting privacy during this challenging time.

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan received a warm welcome as he arrived at his Bandra residence after being discharged from Mumbai`s Lilavati Hospital. The actor was admitted following a stabbing attack by an intruder last week.
