Hurricane Oscar has formed near the Bahamas, according to the National Hurricane Center's 2 p.m. update on Saturday.

Oscar, which the National Hurricane Center characterized as "very small," is the 15th named storm of the hurricane season.

Hours earlier, Tropical Storm Nadine formed off Mexico's southern Caribbean coast and was moving inland across Belize.

Up to 20 inches of rain is forecast in some regions of Cuba, which could trigger flash flooding and mudslides.
