The PGA Tour FedEx Cup points race could get tighter this week at Pebble Beach with more players in the mix behind leader Hideki Matsuyama.

The top five on the money list going into the Farmers Insurance Open didn’t change: Hideki Matsuyama, Collin Morikawa, Sepp Straka, Nick Taylor and Sungjae Im. Matsuyama tied for 32nd at Torrey Pines and has more than $3.7 million in earnings.

Hideki Matsuyama can increase his lead on the PGA Tour money list this week at the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines in La Jolla, Calif., which begins on Wednesday and ends on Saturday because of the NFL conference championship games on Sunday.
