The Delhi police has been successful at tracing the donkey route adopted by illegal immigrants from Bangladesh to enter India. They usually travel through Meghalaya, Assam, West Bengal and finally ending up the national capital.

Delhi Police have busted an illegal Bangladeshi immigration racket, arresting two Bangladeshi nationals, Bilal Hussain and Tanya Khan, and two Indian nationals, Aminul Islam from Assam and Ashish Mehra from Gurugram.

In a major breakthrough, the police also busted a gang responsible for providing Aadhar cards and other government identification cards to Bangladeshi nationals based on fake documents.

A team was deployed to conduct thorough searches and gather intelligence to locate undocumented immigrants. The team was systematically briefed for day and night patrolling, ensuring effective vigilance and proactive measures against illegal activities.
