Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl has confirmed Mathys Tel wants to leave the club. Standard Sport understands Chelsea have previously made an inquiry to sign the Frenchman earlier in the window, while Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United have also been linked.

Mathys Tel may have changed his mind and may now be looking to leave Bayern before the end of the transfer window on Friday, but unfortunately it sounds like Chelsea are not exactly high on his list of potential destinations.

Tel dropped a transfer bombshell on Tuesday – deciding that he wishes to leave Bayern this month – which has seen Arsenal and United join Chelsea in a dramatic late race to land his signature.
