Inter Miami wraps up its two-game preseason tour of Central America when it faces Olimpia in Honduras on Saturday night. The Herons defeated Sporting San Miguelito 3-1 on Sunday in Panama, earning their first preseason victory after draws against Club América in Las Vegas and Universitario de Deportes in Peru.

Inter Miami will head to Paraguay as their preseason begins to come to a close facing Olimpia. While the Herons have played in five different countries so far, they've had a more condensed preseason than last season which saw them travelling around Asia before kicking off MLS play.

The Inter Miami team bus was wrapped in pink and advertised Saturday night’s preseason game against Honduran club Olimpia as “El Evento Del Siglo” (The Event of the Century). Fans lined the streets of San Pedro Sula to get a glimpse of Lionel Messi and his teammates as they pulled into their hotel and again as the team headed to the stadium.

Inter Miami’s Argentine star Lionel Messi scored the opening goal of the match in a friendly against Club Olimpia. Inter Miami is facing Paraguayan club Olimpia in a preseason friendly, marking the team’s fourth match of 2025.
