Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has more than two and a half times the peak concurrent player count the original game ever achieved, an impressive feat for any direct sequel.

Deliverance 2 has broken six concurrent player records on Steam in just as many days. The open-world RPG most recently peaked at 256,206 concurrent Steam players on February 9, making it one of the platform's top 50 most popular games of all time.

We are also seeing something that does not usually happen, in that the concurrent peak playercount for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II has gone up every day since launch, and is hitting new peaks as I currently write this.

Deliverance 2's NPCs are proving a bit too clever for fans, who keep getting players arrested for stealing and other crimes.
