Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson is asking Mayor Eric Adams for more funding towards the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation to plant more trees.

Early data shows the program is reducing traffic, boosting subway use, improving travel times and even gaining support from those who pay the toll.
