But in order to accommodate local evacuees, the Sunset Tower Hotel—one of the great West Hollywood Art Deco haunts, with its beloved Tinseltown canteen, the Tower Bar—has stayed open.
The new blaze lit up near Runyon Canyon, which is in the vicinity of iconic Los Angeles locations and tourist destinations. No homes were said to be damaged.
