SAN ANTONIO (WOAI) — Seven San Antonio officers were shot Wednesday night and the suspect was found dead inside an apartment where he barricaded himself, according to the San Antonio Police Department.

An hours-long standoff and shootout left seven San Antonio police officers wounded with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. The suspect, who barricaded himself in an apartment for hours, was found dead.

The officers went to an apartment in San Antonio and were shot by a barricaded man, who was found dead, the authorities said.
