The states that are currently impacted by this recall are the following: Alaska, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
FDA upgrades recalled broccoli to highest level over possible Listeria contamination
In a Jan. 27 reclassification, the FDA put the California-based Braga Fresh broccoli florets in its Class 1 level, in which there is a “reasonable probability” that use or exposure to the product can be potentially deadly, according to the FDA website.
