Patrick: Even though Dundee United contained Celtic well, it never felt like we were in danger thanks to a really solid defensive performance. The players overall looked tired but got the job done nonetheless. Great to extend the lead to 16 points.

Celtic moved 16 points clear at the top of the Premiership table after a 2-0 home win over Dundee United. Goals from Daizen Maeda and Reo Hatate gave the Hoops the win, on a night when Brendan Rodgers’ side produced another dominant performance at Paradise.

There were a lot of fantastic performances for Dundee, but Adewumi was the best player on the pitch. Adewumi also had another fierce shot saved by Liam Kelly, and right at the end he was back in his own box shielding the ball out of play to get the result over the line.
